New version released - Jan 3rd 2025

Thank you to all our fellow jammers for your lovely feedback, it means a lot to us (and to the infernal spirits you helped unleash)! We celebrated the start of 2025 with a thorough cleanup and decided to optimize our game a little more. It's now almost 250 MB smaller on all platforms, which makes the apocalypse much more lightweight and tempting to download - and it can even be played directly on Itch now! For the best experience, we still recommend downloading the game though ;)
We also sprinkled in a few bugfixes, notably:
- Fixed rotation validation error with character keys
- Fixed inverted ring selection
- Fixed credits being closed immediately
- Fixed sound effects of exit tutorial button in main menu
- Fixed the game lagging or crashing when quitting
- Fixed timer not showing correctly on web builds
- Worked around the music overlap issues on web builds
- ⚠️ This and related sound issues are unfortunately known issues with Godot 4.3. We strongly recommend downloading the game for the best experience!
